When you become a DKMS donor, you become a member of the family.
Donors are issued donor cards and are contacted annually. Mailings remind donors that they are in the database, keep contact information up-to-date and inform donors of recent developments.
NOTE: When you register with DKMS, you are entered into our database and anonymously listed on the National Marrow Donor registry. The registry is searched each day by doctors looking to find a match for their patients. While DKMS does not register people who want to be specifically tested for one individual, this can be done privately by visiting www.bonemarrowtest.com/privatemarrow.htm
